New to this edition are highlighted "Development Checks" section on embryology. Terminology has been updated to deal with Anatomical Terminology. The fully searchable text and a question bank will be available online at thePoint. This medical books is a great review and supplement to class notes for anatomy class exam preparation. BRS Gross Anatomy is a great resource for Anatomy Shelf Exams. Clinical correlates were excellent for shelf exam and in-house exams. The questions make you realize just how well you know your anatomy and understand each concept. Secret of this medical book is the embryology info contained within each chapter, which is quite good for last minute high yield studying. Overall, good source. For medical school anatomy, check out the books by Moore such as Clinically Oriented Anatomy and Essential Clinical Anatomy.
