Gross Anatomy is a world view that most people do not see ... the pressures associated with the first year of medical studies, especially this year-long courses in anatomy. Obviously, some students do, and others do not. It is a story of a ... Well, I will not tell you how it ends, of course.
Matthew Modine, as a first year student Joe Slovak, not to take medical school as seriously as his peers. It is both the fun part of the film, and more incredible. For Slovak Joe really does not seem to care at all, and that does not make sense unless the director gives the viewer a glimpse of this state of mind. This idea never comes.
At once funny and tragic at others, gross anatomy is entertaining. This is the only medical anatomy book which really entartaining. Have fun with this medical book.
